Following record turnover growth (+ 37% in 2017) and new collaborative projects with international designers, the Italian company Talenti, world leader in the outdoor sector, continues its expansion through the acquisition of the former Federici pasta factory, in the Umbrian town of Amelia, with plans to build a major center for showcasing, producing and marketing garden furniture. But that\u2019s not all; Talenti\u2019s objective, as announced following a meeting between the company\u2019s president and the Mayor of Amelia, is to collaborate with the municipal administration and local artisans to develop synergies in other areas. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

First on the list is the agricultural and food sector with a focus on worldwide exports<\/strong>, creating new opportunities for growth and for promoting the region<\/strong>. The complex that housed the historic pasta factory will undergo a significant industrial redevelopment project<\/strong> initiated by Talenti<\/strong>. The company made the winning bid for the entire extended complex, which covers an area of approximately 22,000 square meters<\/strong>, during a recent bankruptcy auction held in Terni \u2013 with an outlay of 750,000 euro<\/strong>, twice that of the starting price \u2013 after going head-to-head with a consortium of Umbrian entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

“This is an important investment that allows us to further develop our business, certainly on the Italian market, but above all on the world market,”<\/em> declared Fabrizio Cameli<\/strong>, founder and president of Talenti<\/strong>. “Thanks to a new structure, we will be able to expand our production to meet the growing demand in the residential as well as in the contract and hospitality sectors. We\u2019re also expecting strong export growth thanks to a broad network of over 400 dealers in 47 countries.<\/em> But not only that, through this acquisition <\/em>\u2013 Cameli continued \u2013 we also aim to revitalize the industrial and artisanal district of this area, expanding the production into the agricultural and food sector with notable benefits for the revival of employment opportunities in our wonderful region.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
