As a base for future initiatives, <\/strong>V\u00e4linge<\/strong> has achieved great success during 2018. A new factory, a record number of new patents, more R&D activities than ever before, new licensees and so on. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The new state-of-the-art factory is completed\u00a0<\/strong>
\nThe \u20ac50 million investment to build a state of the art factory for large volumes of powder-based floors with Woodura\u00ae and Nadura\u00ae surfaces in Viken is now up and running, resulting in the creation of new jobs and further business. The high-tech production line has a pressing capacity of 7 million m2. In order to secure veneer, needed in the Woodura\u00ae production process, Pervanovo acquired the Croatian veneer producer Furnir Otok d.o.o. in September.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

37 new licensees\u00a0<\/strong>
\nDuring the year V\u00e4linge welcomed 28 new flooring licensees and 9 new furniture licensees. V\u00e4linge is proud of supporting its 235 licensees worldwide to help them stay at the forefront of the flooring and furniture technologies.<\/p>\n

421 new patents<\/strong>
\nA record number of patents was granted to V\u00e4linge in 2018 that now includes more than 2500 granted and enforceable patents, with 421 new patents added to the existing patent portfolio;<\/p>\n
