The expansion significantly increases the site\u2019s capacity and will help meet growing demand for dispersions in T\u00fcrkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa. It also broadens the regional product portfolio to address local requirements and foster innovation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1392\">With the new line, BASF will supply the decorative paints and construction industries with low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions that help improve indoor air quality. The Dilovas\u0131 site will also apply mass-balance technology to produce dispersions with a reduced carbon footprint. Reflecting BASF\u2019s commitment to supporting customers\u2019 green transition, the entire facility operates on electrical energy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1850\">At the inauguration held on Tuesday, 7 October, at BASF\u2019s Dilovas\u0131 site, Bekir Polat, Vice President of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, said: \u201cIt is a strong testament to confidence in our country and to a long-term partnership that BASF\u2014celebrating its 160th anniversary globally and operating in T\u00fcrkiye for 145 years\u2014has made this new investment. We see this as a contribution to T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s growth vision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"2455\">Commenting on the start-up, Dr. J\u00f6rg Niebergall, Senior Vice President, Dispersions Europe, said: \u201cWith our new line in Dilovas\u0131, we are ready to meet rising demand for innovative dispersions from customers in T\u00fcrkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa.
