Imagination Meets Technology with the \u201cFabric Shaped Me\u201d Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within the scope of the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 4007 \u201cA Pinch of Science, A World of Festivals\u201d Support Program, \u00c7ilek is bringing children\u2019s imagination together with the light of science through its participation in the \u201cBursa Science Festival: We Produce with Science, We Advance with Technology\u201d project.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, Murat Bulca, Chief Operating Officer at \u00c7ilek, spoke at the \u201c\u0130neg\u00f6l from Past to Present\u201d seminar held at the \u0130neg\u00f6l City Museum, sharing insights into \u00c7ilek\u2019s approach to quality in furniture, its commitment to sustainable production, and its alignment with the European Green Deal.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the \u00c7ilek Design Center team met with children in the workshop titled \u201cFabric Shaped Me: An AI-Assisted Design Story,\u201d where creativity and technology came together. Children first explored different fabrics by touch and reflected on how they felt, then completed a brief survey with questions such as \u201cWhat did this fabric make you feel?\u201d Finally, they drew their dream furniture; using AI, these drawings\u2014together with the fabrics they chose\u2014were transformed into digital furniture designs.<\/p>\n
