Organised simultaneously at Istanbul Expo Center (\u0130FM) and T\u00dcYAP Fair and Congress Center under the coordination of the Federation of Furniture Associations (MOSFED), IIFF 2026 will bring T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s furniture industry production strength, design capability and export vision together with the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MOSFED President Ahmet G\u00fcle\u00e7 emphasised that IIFF plays a key role in the export vision of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s furniture sector and said, \u201cTurkish furniture is writing a strong success story worldwide today. The International Istanbul Furniture Fair is a strategic platform for carrying this success into global markets. In line with our goal of increasing our exports, which exceeded USD 4.6 billion in 2025, to USD 12 billion by 2030, IIFF continues to be the most important international showcase for our industry.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Held each year with the aim of bringing T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s production power, design competence and innovative vision to the global stage, the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF) consistently draws attention and is recognised internationally as one of the three most prestigious events in the furniture industry. This year, IIFF will once again host innovations in the sector and place a strong spotlight on sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Spanning 250,000 square metres and featuring the latest collections of more than 3,000 brands, the fair will host over 150,000 professional visitors from more than 150 countries and regions. IIFF 2026, expected to attract strong interest from interior architects, decorators, chain store managers, import and export professionals, hotel purchasing managers and designers, will serve as a strategic meeting point where new partnerships will be formed, export opportunities will take shape and the global brand strength of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s furniture industry will once again be demonstrated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainable Success Story<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With only days left until the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), MOSFED President Ahmet G\u00fcle\u00e7 drew attention to the fair\u2019s sectoral and economic importance and underlined that T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s furniture sector is building a strong success story on a global scale.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmet G\u00fcle\u00e7 said, \u201cTurkish furniture is presenting a success story worldwide today. The International Istanbul Furniture Fair is one of the most effective and strategic platforms in shaping this story and securing a lasting position in international markets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stating that IIFF, held annually, enables manufacturers to make a strong export driven start to the new year, G\u00fcle\u00e7 noted that direct interactions with buyers coming from all around the world during the fair turn into new commercial agreements and long term collaborations. Reminding that T\u00fcrkiye accounts for 2% of global furniture production and ranks among the top 10 producers and top 10 exporters worldwide, he stated that the sector achieved exports exceeding USD 4.6 billion in 2025. Emphasising that the Turkish furniture sector\u2019s 2030 export target is USD 12 billion, G\u00fcle\u00e7 highlighted that IIFF plays a critical role in reaching this goal.<\/p>\n<p>Pointing out that this year\u2019s focus is sustainability, G\u00fcle\u00e7 said, \u201cThis year, we are turning our fair into a centre not only for design and trade but also for green transformation. Through our efforts and projects that encourage sustainable production and guide our industry, we are preparing Turkish furniture for the competitive conditions of the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Gateway to the Future of the Sector<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recognised internationally as one of the three largest and most influential organisations in the furniture industry, IIFF will once again turn the eyes of the global furniture world toward T\u00fcrkiye with its vision that shapes the sector\u2019s future. Within the framework of the \u201cSustainability\u201d theme, IIFF 2026 will bring together all product groups under one roof, from modern and modular furniture to luxury designs, from office, hotel and outdoor furniture to beds, children\u2019s and youth room collections. The fair will not only be a trade platform but will also offer a holistic industry showcase shaped around design, innovation and green transformation.
