This strengthens the company\u2019s ability to support partners in evaluating and optimising the sound performance of flooring products incorporating V\u00e4linge technologies such as Liteback<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0and the acoustic coating technology, licensed through V\u00e4linge in partnership with Kneho-Lacke.<\/p>\n<p>As requirements for sound insulation and acoustic comfort continue to increase across the building industry, the ability to accurately measure and optimise flooring performance is becoming increasingly important. V\u00e4linge\u2019s new acoustic lab enables measurement of impact sound insulation in accordance with established industry standards, along with a range of additional acoustic evaluations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see a growing demand for flooring solutions that contribute to quieter indoor environments,\u201d says Anna Nilsson, Business Developer at V\u00e4linge Innovation. \u201cWith this new in-house capability, we can support both existing and potential partners in assessing how our technologies contribute to improved sound performance in their products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The acoustic coating technology, offered by V\u00e4linge through its partnership with Kneho-Lacke, delivers sound-dampening properties in wood-based flooring products.<\/p>\n<p>For resilient flooring, Liteback enables panels to be made thicker without added weight, or lighter while maintaining the same thickness. It also contributes to reduced noise levels within rooms and between floors.
