The Manisa Liberation Museum, designed by Yal\u0131n Mimarl\u0131k for Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, was deemed worthy of the \u201cBuilding Category Award\u201d<\/strong> in the National Architecture Exhibition and Awards program, organized biennially by the Chamber of Architects of TMMOB.<\/p>\n

This award, received by Architect \u00d6mer Sel\u00e7uk Baz and Yal\u0131n Mimarl\u0131k for the Manisa Liberation Museum, became the office\u2019s fourth \u201cBuilding Category Award\u201d<\/strong> to date within the scope of the National Architecture Exhibition and Awards, following the Central Bank of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Bursa Branch Building, the Troy Museum, and the Zonguldak Caves Visitor Center.<\/p>\n

This year, a total of 57 works were evaluated in the Building, Project, and Idea Presentation categories as part of the 20th National Architecture Exhibition and Awards program of the Chamber of Architects of TMMOB. A total of 18 works were selected as award nominees, including 10 in the Building Category, 6 in the Project Category, and 2 in the Idea Presentation Category. Yal\u0131n Mimarl\u0131k, which was deemed worthy of the \u201cBuilding Category Award\u201d<\/strong> with the Manisa Liberation Museum project, received its award at the ceremony held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Z\u00fcbeyde Han\u0131m Social Facility in Ankara.<\/p>\n

This award, received by Architect \u00d6mer Sel\u00e7uk Baz and Yal\u0131n Mimarl\u0131k for the Manisa Liberation Museum, became the office\u2019s fourth \u201cBuilding Category Award\u201d<\/strong> to date within the scope of the National Architecture Exhibition and Awards, following the Central Bank of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Bursa Branch Building in 2012, the Troy Museum in 2020, and the Zonguldak Caves Visitor Center in 2022.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the award ceremony, Yal\u0131n Mimarl\u0131k founding partner and architect \u00d6mer Sel\u00e7uk Baz said:<\/p>\n
