The cosmetics sector, one of the most dynamic areas of the chemical industry, continues to grow with its production capacity, export performance and ability to adapt to changing consumer expectations. As increasing global competition, transformation in export markets, changing consumer expectations and the understanding of sustainable production shape the future of the sector, the question of \u201cWhat should we produce?\u201d is becoming more critical than ever for manufacturers. In this context, the 4th Future of Cosmetics: What Should We Produce? Summit, organized by the Cosmetic Manufacturers and Researchers Association, K\u00dcAD, will be held on June 18, 2026, at Selectum City Hotel in Ata\u015fehir, \u0130stanbul. The summit, which will bring together leading representatives of the sector, will address developments that will shape the future of the cosmetics market.<\/p>\n<p>Organized by K\u00dcAD and expected to host more than 500 sector professionals, the summit aims to contribute to the development of high value-added cosmetic products centered on human and environmental health, increase the international competitiveness of the sector, strengthen knowledge sharing and support the sustainable development of the cosmetics ecosystem. As part of the program, which will bring together leading representatives of the sector, theater artist Ali Poyrazo\u011flu will also take the stage as keynote speaker. Poyrazo\u011flu will share with participants the importance of change, creativity and the ability to foresee the future in the business world through his own experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data, Trends and Consumer Insights on the Same Stage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The opening speeches of the summit will be delivered by Summit Chair \u00dc. Belgin Sile and K\u00dcAD Chairman of the Board Fuat Arslan. In the first session, titled <strong>\u201cFrom Data to Value: Trends in the Cosmetics Sector,\u201d<\/strong> Merve G\u00f6kmen and P\u0131nar K\u00f6seo\u011flu from NielsenIQ, Hakan G\u00f6l from Deloitte T\u00fcrkiye and Melisa \u00d6zl\u00fcer from WGSN will share their assessments on the present and future of the sector, from consumer trends to developments in the global beauty market. In the second session, titled <strong>\u201cTransformation in Cosmetics: From Production to Consumer Experience,\u201d<\/strong> \u015eebnem \u00c7ak\u0131r from Ashland, Ersen Y\u0131lmaz from Koroplast and sector representatives will discuss the transformation of the sector through the lens of sustainability, innovation, packaging solutions and consumer experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An Artistic and Creative Perspective on the Future of Cosmetics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In one of the summit\u2019s notable sections, the keynote session, theater artist Ali Poyrazo\u011flu will meet with participants. In the <strong>\u201cNew Shelves of Cosmetics\u201d<\/strong> session, Engin \u00c7a\u011f\u0131n from Hepsiburada and Can Karadeniz from ebebek will discuss changing consumer behavior and new-generation sales channels, while the K\u00dcAD Talks Stage will evaluate the impact of technology, digital transformation and the retail ecosystem on the cosmetics sector with the participation of expert names from different sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today, It Is Not Only What We Produce That Matters, but Also How We Differentiate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stating that competition in the cosmetics sector is no longer limited only to product development, K\u00dcAD Summit Chair \u00dc. Belgin Sile said: \u201cThe cosmetics sector is going through a multidimensional transformation today. Consumers now look not only at the content of a product, but also at the values of the brand, its sustainability approach, its visibility in the digital world and the experience it offers. Therefore, the critical question for our sector is not only \u2018What should we produce?\u2019 but also \u2018How should we differentiate and how should we create value?\u2019 With the What Should We Produce?
