The number of complaints rose from 1,482 in 2025 to 3,363 in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>A striking increase has been recorded in consumer complaints concerning residential construction companies. \u015eikayetvar data revealed that the number of complaints in the category more than doubled within a year. When the same periods of 2025 and 2026 are compared, the number of complaints in the residential construction companies category increased from 1,482 to 3,363. This represented a 127 percent increase in complaints concerning the category. In other words, the number of complaints submitted to the platform increased by 1,881.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61554\" src=\"http:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1104\" height=\"736\" srcset=\"https:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503.png 1104w, https:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503-500x333.png 500w, https:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503-630x420.png 630w, https:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503-120x80.png 120w, https:\/\/orsiad.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1785746147_image___2026_08_03T101022.503-600x400.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1104px) 100vw, 1104px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>What Are Consumers Complaining About Most?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delays in the delivery of homes<\/li>\n<li>Incomplete or defective workmanship<\/li>\n<li>Failure to transfer title deeds or delays in title deed transfers<\/li>\n<li>Construction being halted or left incomplete<\/li>\n<li>Being unable to contact the company or find an authorized representative<\/li>\n<li>Failure to issue refunds following withdrawal or contract cancellation<\/li>\n<li>Additional fees being requested despite not being included in the contract<\/li>\n<li>Features promised in the project not being delivered<\/li>\n<li>Defects discovered after delivery not being repaired<\/li>\n<li>Failure to pay delay compensation or rental assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of the complaints submitted to the platform were as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe signed the contract in 2022 and were told that the home would be delivered in 2024. Although we have reached 2026, there is still no completed construction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were only able to move into the apartment at the end of the year, even though we had been told it would be ready in April. The apartment was unfinished, the workmanship was very poor and there were numerous deficiencies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the delivery was repeatedly postponed, I terminated the contract and requested a refund of the 2.5 million TL I had paid. Despite my applications, I received no response from the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough it was not included in the contract, I was first asked to make an additional payment of 1 million TL and then another payment of 500,000 TL. I did not accept this request, which was outside the terms of the contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI purchased the apartment in 2021.
