The \u2018Bow Tie Chair\u2019 was created by <\/strong>Taiwan-based Gridesign Studio. Founded by designer Scott Lin<\/strong>, Gridesign Studio made a worldwide reputation in the design industry with this fashionable and yet simple piece of chair.<\/p>\n

Produced with laminated bamboo, the bow tie chair has a fashionable and simplistic design. The storage area is constructed by heating bamboo up several times\u00a0to create curves\u00a0on different parts. This way the piece offers large storage compartments while making the seat itself both comfortable and ventilated. The seat is produced from a series of 13 sections of bent, laminated bamboo.<\/p>\n

Three storage areas are present in the object, located directly under the seat and sides. Aside from providing usable space, the construction provides constant ventilation for a cool, comfortable seat no\u00a0matter the temperature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
