AGT, which manufactures MDF, Melamine Faced MDF, panel, profile, flooring and door for the national and international furniture, decoration and construction sectors, is creating a difference in export in its own sector. In addition to local furniture manufacturing and design in our country, AGT also conducts international active marketing activities and keeps its place as the sector leader by obtaining 40% of its turnover of 500 million TL recorded last year from export sales.
Having been established in Antalya 32 years ago and operating in more than 60 countries on 5 continents today, AGT accelerated its international activities to support the local furniture manufacturing and design in our country. Continuing its active marketing activities in export in 2016, AGT has the justified pride of being the sector leader by opening showrooms and offices in Dubai, Iran and Istanbul, actively attending fairs in about 30 countries including the US, the United Kingdom and Canada, and conducting many marketing activities. AGT also conducts sector-intended in-service training activities in the countries where it operates and continues to provide carpentry trainings in many countries.
AGT Sales and Marketing Group Director made a statement concerning their export sales and said, “Today we are revealing the ambition of not only our brand but also our country in the sector through the products we export to the four corners of the world. It is very important for us to come to the forefront not only with quantity but also with quality, combine quantity with quality and increase our brand awareness. This is why AGT is known as a generic brand in many countries in which we have been continuing our marketing activities for long years. As AGT, we are waving our flag by conducting many significant activities in the international arena to help branding of the Turkish furniture sector. We completed last year with export figures that were higher than our targets. And we have been carrying out significant activities through the export sales we made until today in 2016 to help branding of the Turkish furniture sector.”
