Buoyed by a strong global economy, the next Magna Expo Mueblera trade fair and its two flagship shows, Magna Expo Mobiliario e Interiores and Magna Expo Mueblera Industrial, will be in an excellent position when it opens it gates from 17 to 20 January 2018 at the Centro Citibanamex exhibition center in Mexico City.
Magna Expo Mobiliario e Interiores is the leading fair for Furnishings, Decoration, Appliances and Flooring. It will be co-staged with the Magna Expo Mueblera Industrial showcase for wood processing, woodworking and furniture manufacturing. 217 exhibitors exhibited on 30,000 square meters at this year’s Magna Expo Mueblera. They came from Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Turkey and the United States. Next year’s show will feature the first-ever German national pavilion, which is organized by the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. Other international pavilions are expected. For the first time, the joint showcase will be run under the sole management of Hanover Fairs México, a subsidiary of the German trade fair company Deutsche Messe AG.
Deutsche Messe has the global networks and quality contacts needed to make a success of Magna ExpoMueblera, thanks to its established event portfolio, which includes DOMOTEX, the world’s leading trade fair for carpets and floor coverings, and LIGNA, the world’s leading trade fair for wood industry machinery, plant and equipment. Christian Pfeiffer, Deutsche Messe’s Global Director LIGNA and Woodworking Events: “Magna ExpoMueblera’s new, transparent structure strengthens all of its main display areas. This, in turn, will boost the fair’s appeal to exhibitors from outside Mexico and reinforce the show’s position as the country’s number one trade fair in this sector.”
