Välinge Innovation has decided to make a contribution to the on-going refugee crisis. By making the contribution, Välinge hopes to inspire more organizations to do the same.

 

Välinge will donate 100,000 SEK to Médecins sans frontières (MSF) for its humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees. The organization has been chosen for its ability to quickly deploy resources where help is needed the most. Almost half of the contribution is represented by money that would normally be used for Christmas gifts to the employees.

 

“We feel our decision has been supported by the entire organization. We are very happy to see the increasing participation from both private persons and organizations in the aid to help the refugees. Hopefully, we can inspire even more people to help” says Välinge CEO Niclas Håkansson.
