For the first time, Primultini and Bongioanni exhibited together at Ligna. Big news for the primary operation industry, following the acquisition of the historical brand, part of Pezzolato SpA since 2001, by the group based in Marano Vicentino. Primary operation professionals did not miss the opportunity to “touch and see” the results of this partnership in Hanover.
“At the exhibition there is technology by Primultini and technology by Bongioanni”, says Lorenzo Primultini, group president. “We want to make it clear that a priority of our acquisition is the business continuity of Bongioanni, the preservation of their story and competence, while optimizing operations and leveraging all synergies.
Ligna is an opportunity to prove my statements: this acquisition strengthens our leadership and now we can supply turnkey sawmill plants, developed with strong expertise and experience in every processing stage for logs (cutting, debarking, measuring, sorting, handling and orienting) and boards (cutting, trimming, sorting, stacking, strapping, packaging…). Together, Primultini, Bongioanni and Pribo make up a player with unparalleled excellence and knowledge”.
“Just three months since the agreement was signed, we are having very positive feedback in terms of sales, both for Primultini and for Bongioanni products”, says Gaetano De Lai, sales manager. “In several markets – mainly Germany, France, Austria and Croatia – results confirm the effectiveness of our project and the value of solutions that integrate the best of both companies”.
Ligna was the “debutante ball” for Primultini and Bongioanni, meeting the big audience of the sawmill and primary operation industry in Hanover. It was a great opportunity to present a lineup of products in a 200-square-meter stand, including a variable axis carriage by Bongioanni, a shaping debarking machine by Pribo, a two-spindle multiple ripsaw model “MSA” by Primultini and a numerical control leveling machine for wood band saw blades type “Mecomat” (useful to restore the perfect planarity and efficiency of saw blades) produced by Mec-Legno, another company belonging to the “Primultini galaxy”.
Another exhibit at Ligna was the tilted saw headrig by Primultini with 1600 millimeter flywheel diameter, equipped with canter and variable axis carriage, equally tilted, designed by Bongioanni.
