The Ankara Contractors Association, which has begun its activities with the aim of producing solutions to the current problems of the construction sector within the framework of common wisdom, creating a strong culture of solidarity among its members and carrying the sector toward a more institutional structure, continues its work with the vision of being not only a professional organization, but also a powerful platform that will help shape the development of the sector.

Founded under the leadership of NED Holding Chairman Mücahit Şentürk, HİEM İnşaat Gayrimenkul Chairman Osman Yılmaz and TR Holding Chairman Cengiz Gökay, the association acts with the goal of helping the sector gain a stronger, more sustainable and more institutional structure.

During the launch program, the current structure of the construction sector, economic developments, structural problems experienced in the sector and strategic goals for the future were discussed in detail. As part of the program, attention was drawn to the importance of developing a culture of cooperation among sector representatives, establishing stronger communication mechanisms with public institutions and expanding the understanding of acting together across the sector.

It was emphasized that the fundamental approach of the Ankara Contractors Association is to build a strong structure that protects professional ethical values, strengthens solidarity among members, establishes constructive communication with public institutions, supports a sustainable construction approach and contributes to the development of the sector.
Among the association’s priority areas of work are producing solutions to structural problems in the sector, contributing to the prevention of unfair competition, protecting the rights and interests of members, establishing more effective communication mechanisms between the public sector and the construction industry and strengthening professional solidarity. In addition, supporting a sustainable and institutional construction approach, developing joint projects for the future of the sector and establishing stronger collaborations among sector stakeholders are also among the association’s goals.

It was stated that in the coming period, the Ankara Contractors Association aims to contribute to the development of the construction sector through sectoral meetings, public-sector collaborations, solution-oriented studies and joint projects. The association is expected to become an important structure that strengthens sectoral solidarity, primarily in Ankara and across Türkiye.
