Within FSC Türkiye, Fatma Taycı leads forest products value chain development initiatives carried out together with private-sector companies and industry organizations. At the center of her work is the effort to make the supply chain, extending from responsible forest resource management to the final product, sustainable and traceable.
Responsible sourcing of forest products, FSC Chain of Custody, CoC, certification, traceability, sustainable trade and EUDR compliance are among Taycı’s principal areas of expertise. Rising expectations in the European market concerning sustainability and verifiable sourcing are making these areas increasingly important for the forest products industry.
Prior to her role at FSC, Taycı worked on production management, sustainability strategies and supply chain transformation across different industrial sectors. During her professional career of approximately 20 years, she has led ESG, sustainability and corporate transformation projects. This background enables her to approach sustainability not merely at the level of certification or environmental policy, but as a transformation process involving the entirety of production and business operations.
In her work at FSC Türkiye, Taycı focuses on helping manufacturers, suppliers and other value chain stakeholders operating in Türkiye better understand global standards and the tools developed by FSC. Through these efforts, she contributes to strengthening the capacity of Türkiye’s forest products industry in international sustainable trade.
