Unilin Technologies and i4f announce the implementation of a non-assert agreement on Unilin’s water repellent coating patents.
Both technology licensing companies are offering different coating technologies designed to enhance the water-repellent performance of wood-based flooring products. Unilin’s technology is marketed under the Unicoat brand. i4f offers its technology under the AquaProtect brand.
The agreement allows i4f to offer its licensees additional protection on Unilin’s pioneering patent portfolio, by which flooring manufacturers now have legal access to multiple water-repellent edge-coating technologies from independent technology providers.
