Yılmaz began his education at Ankara Ayrancı Anatolian High School and was admitted to the Department of Civil Engineering at Uşak University at the age of 18. During his university years, he entered the sector by working at a real estate office and quickly gained experience in sales, marketing and customer management.
Taking his first step into entrepreneurship at the age of 19, Yılmaz began operating in the fields of student housing and real estate consultancy with the Apart Sepeti brand, which he founded while continuing his university education. Growing rapidly in a short time, the venture reached 12 employees and 2 branches in Uşak, becoming a significant regional real estate organization with a portfolio management capacity of approximately 650 apartments.
Returning to Ankara in 2021, Yılmaz carried his activities into larger-scale housing and mixed-use projects. During this period, he took an active role in land development, project production, marketing and sales management, and carried out collaborations in various large-scale projects.
Continuing his professional development, Yılmaz strengthened his competencies in management and entrepreneurship by participating in the Mini MBA and various training programs at TOBB ETÜ. He continues his education at Atılım University.
Under the roof of Medar İnşaat, of which he is the Founder and Chairman of the Board, Yılmaz has brought housing and land development projects to life in different regions of Ankara. He draws attention with the Medar Port Projects in the Esenboğa region, comprising 380 apartments, as well as the Medar Batıpark and Medar Panorama projects in the Sincan Saraycık and Yeni Peçenek regions.
Reaching hundreds of millions of liras in sales and investment volume over a period of approximately seven years, Yılmaz adopts an approach that defines real estate not merely as the production of buildings, but as the “production of life.”
Yılmaz emphasizes that in the modern understanding of real estate development, engineering quality, safety, sustainability and social living spaces must be addressed in an integrated manner.
Mehmet Konuralp Yılmaz also attaches importance to social responsibility and initiatives that support young entrepreneurship. He takes part in various organizations that encourage young people’s participation in the business world and brings young entrepreneurs together through the Nefa Youth and Business Platform.
Among his future goals is to make Medar İnşaat one of Türkiye’s leading real estate development companies. At the same time, Yılmaz aims to take part in projects in the defense industry, software and technology fields that will contribute to Türkiye’s global competitiveness.
