Cairo International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Conference

Taking place in Cairo between 9 and 11 December, 2017, Cairo International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Show in co-operation with Egyptian Furniture Export Council is organizing a conference entitled Furniture and Wooden Products Manufacturing…..Opportunities, Challenges, Solutions and Global Orientation towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0 and its Impact on the Competitiveness of the Egyptian Products.

The Cairo International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Conference is a series of panel discussions between industry professionals from all over the world and government agencies involved in the furniture industry on one hand and furniture industry leaders on the other.  The conference will raise awareness of the participants about the use of modern technologies in the furniture industry to develop the industry and its competitiveness in the global markets.

The conference aims to explore and enhance the latest developments in the timber trade, including grades, legitimacy and certificates, as well as providing the latest technical solutions in the design and manufacture of furniture, in line with the directions of the exhibition to engage more professionals involved directly in the furniture and decoration industry.

Targeting an audience of manufacturers of furniture and wood products, decoration engineers, consultants, executives in construction companies, the conference will be discussing the challenges facing the furniture and wood products industry in Egypt through a series of workshops between manufacturers and concerned government agencies. The conference also focuses on the fourth generation technology and its impact on the furniture industry in Egypt because the use of 4G technology will soon become mandatory, not optional, to maintain the competitiveness of Egyptian products in international markets.
