Türk Telekom, which leads Türkiye’s digital transformation journey, has launched the “Türk Telekom Technology and Innovation Center” at its Gayrettepe Headquarters Campus. Designed with a focus on 5G, the center aims to make its leadership in next-generation connectivity technologies visible through real use cases and real-time applications. At the opening attended by Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Türk Telekom Chairman of the Board İsmail İlhan Hatipoğlu, and Türk Telekom CEO Ebubekir Şahin, the Minister explored digital transformation scenarios by experiencing hologram technology, the VR experience area, simulation solutions, and 5G experience zones. He also connected live via 5G from in front of a scaled miniature model of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge at the experience center to the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Management Center and received information about the system.

Inside the Türk Telekom Technology and Innovation Center are hologram, meeting rooms, interactive screens, a VR experience area, a briefing area, and a 5G experience area. As part of industrial automation applications, 5G-supported transformation scenarios such as a digital twin, robotic solutions, an image processing system, and a remote maintenance and support system are also showcased. Designed as an innovative interaction space for internal and external stakeholders, and especially for corporate customers, the center enables one-on-one experience of 5G’s high speed, low latency, and advanced connectivity capabilities. With digital transformation use cases for different sectors such as smart manufacturing, robotics applications, augmented reality, and remote control scenarios, it was created as a structure where corporate customers can observe 5G solutions aligned with their needs in a tangible way. In line with the localization vision, the center also features solutions developed by local stakeholders and products from local startups.
