POWERFUL FEATURES FOR PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION
- Ideal for Kitchens and Humid Areas, MDF.HLS: Thanks to its water-repellent, hydrophobic structure, it maintains its shape without swelling in applications such as kitchen base units, bathrooms and projects exposed to high levels of humidity.
- Excellent 3D and CNC Machining Capability: With a density that is 30 percent higher and more homogeneous, it delivers smooth, crack-free surfaces and sharp lines even in deep milling applications.
- Maximum Mechanical Strength: Compared with standard MDF, it offers significantly higher bending strength. It provides secure solutions for wide kitchen islands and structural furniture components where resistance to sagging is essential.
- Reduced Tool Wear: The special resin formulation bonding the fibres helps minimize wear on production machinery, including CNC cutting tools and saw blades, contributing to lower production costs.
- Maximum Savings on Paint and Labor: The priming, sanding, edge banding and multilayer lacquer painting processes typically required with conventional MDF are no longer necessary with Valchromat®. After cutting and CNC machining, only a transparent lacquer, wax or protective oil application is required.
- Protection Against Scratches and Impact: The color remains consistent throughout the entire depth of the board. Deep scratches and impact marks that may occur on heavily used furniture can be restored to their original appearance within moments through light local sanding and reapplication of the surface finish.
- Sustainable and Human-Friendly: All organic dyes used in production are free from toxic substances. In compliance with European environmental standards, Valchromat® features low formaldehyde emissions classified as E1. It is suitable for applications in children’s rooms, schools and hospital projects.
- Advanced Acoustic Performance: Its high fibre density makes it suitable for acoustic panel applications. When CNC-machined with perforations or slots, it provides strong acoustic insulation and design continuity in studios, offices and conference rooms.
Valchromat® is available in a broad color palette and in different dimensions and thicknesses to meet a wide range of aesthetic project requirements.
For public spaces, hotels and prestigious projects requiring enhanced fire safety, the Valchromat Fire Retardant range is also available with a B-s2, d0 reaction-to-fire classification in accordance with EN 13501.
