First on the list is the agricultural and food sector with a focus on worldwide exports, creating new opportunities for growth and for promoting the region. The complex that housed the historic pasta factory will undergo a significant industrial redevelopment project initiated by Talenti. The company made the winning bid for the entire extended complex, which covers an area of approximately 22,000 square meters, during a recent bankruptcy auction held in Terni – with an outlay of 750,000 euro, twice that of the starting price – after going head-to-head with a consortium of Umbrian entrepreneurs.
“This is an important investment that allows us to further develop our business, certainly on the Italian market, but above all on the world market,” declared Fabrizio Cameli, founder and president of Talenti. “Thanks to a new structure, we will be able to expand our production to meet the growing demand in the residential as well as in the contract and hospitality sectors. We’re also expecting strong export growth thanks to a broad network of over 400 dealers in 47 countries. But not only that, through this acquisition – Cameli continued – we also aim to revitalize the industrial and artisanal district of this area, expanding the production into the agricultural and food sector with notable benefits for the revival of employment opportunities in our wonderful region.”
Founded in 2004 by a family with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Talenti has quickly evolved towards a more fashionable and contemporary style, combining elegance, functionality and quality, thanks to experimentation with new visual languages through collaborations with notable international designers, including: Karim Rashid, Marco Acerbis, Ramón Esteve and more recently Ludovica + Roberto Palomba who designed the brand new Cliff Collection, presented in 2018 at Milan’s prestigious furniture fair, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
