CEREN POLAT, University Lecturer & Interior Designer and Environmental Designer
She was born in Izmir in 1975. After graduating from Bilkent University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Interior and Environmental Design in 1997, she worked on several projects of desing and applications in Ankara and Izmir. In the meanwhile she also received her masters degree from the Ege University, Department of Landscape Architecture in 2009. While currently writing her thesis for PhD at the same school, she has been serving as a lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department of Yaşar University in Izmir since 2007.
In 2012, she was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Izmir Chamber of Interior Architects Branch, and continues to take an active role at the professional promotion and development activities for the organization.
