Ahead of Turkey’s National Afforestation Day on 11 November, Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding brought together its employees in İzmit to plant the first saplings of the Fehmi Yıldız Foundation Memorial Forest. With the message “Let our roots reach the future,” the Holding once again underscored its commitment to the environment and sustainable living.
As one of Turkey’s most established industrial groups, Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding has launched the Fehmi Yıldız Foundation Memorial Forest to make a lasting contribution to nature and leave a green legacy for future generations. The pre–National Afforestation Day event was attended by Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding Board Member Hakkı Yıldız and Sakarya Regional Director of Forestry Metin Topçu. Employees from the Holding and its group companies gathered at the designated site in İzmit, Kocaeli to “breathe life into the future.” Under the project, a total of 22,500 saplings will be planted.
