Istanbul, Türkiye – 08 October 2025 – BASF has brought on stream a new production line dedicated to dispersions used in decorative coatings and construction materials at its Dilovası site. The expansion significantly increases the site’s capacity and will help meet growing demand for dispersions in Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa. It also broadens the regional product portfolio to address local requirements and foster innovation.
With the new line, BASF will supply the decorative paints and construction industries with low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions that help improve indoor air quality. The Dilovası site will also apply mass-balance technology to produce dispersions with a reduced carbon footprint. Reflecting BASF’s commitment to supporting customers’ green transition, the entire facility operates on electrical energy.
