Homestar signs license agreement for Välinge’s Threespine Click Furniture Technology

Välinge Innovation announces esteemed furniture producer Homestar as a new licensee of their groundbreaking Threespine™ Click Furniture Technology.

“We are delighted to partner with such a distinguished furniture producer as Homestar,” says Mindaugas Zacharenko, Key Account Manager at Välinge Innovation. “Homestar has selected Threespine to address the increase in demand for easy-to-assemble furniture experienced in the US and Canadian markets.”

Homestar, with headquarter in Fuzhou City, China, serves the global furniture market with a focus on Europe, North America, Central and South America, Japan, and China. The company is renowned for its modern furniture designs and operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities equipped with advanced machinery and technology.

“Threespine is precisely what we need to develop competitive, high-quality furniture that meets the evolving demands of modern consumers,” says Steve Lu, CEO and Owner of Homestar. “With Threespine we can offer furniture with fast and easy assembly, durable results, fewer loose parts, and enhanced sustainability.”

Välinge’s Threespine technology consists of two innovative solutions: Threespine Core and Threespine ID. Both solutions are designed to streamline and simplify furniture assembly, each utilising distinct production methods. Threespine Core is based on Välinge’s advanced 5G technology and relies on profiling, while Threespine ID uses traditional drilling methods.

“Launched in Europe last year, Threespine ID has already been adopted by several leading European furniture producers,” says Mindaugas Zacharenko. “With Homestar as our first Chinese Threespine ID licensee, we are enthusiastic about introducing the technology to the Asian market”.
