Kastamonu Entegre, the leading company in the wood-based panel sector, received an award from the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters’ Association (AKAMİB) for being the company with the highest export volume. Presented at a ceremony held by AKAMİB in Kayseri, the award also confirmed on a regional level the success of Kastamonu Entegre, Türkiye’s export champion in the “Furniture, Paper and Forest Products” category.
A global player in the wood-based panel industry, Kastamonu Entegre was deemed worthy of the “Top Exporter” award by AKAMİB, one of the sector’s leading associations, supported by its 30% market share and its production facilities located in five locations across Türkiye: Kastamonu, Gebze, Balıkesir, Samsun, and Adana. At the 2025 Export Champions Awards Ceremony held in Kayseri on Thursday, 5 February, the award was received on behalf of Kastamonu Entegre by Hakan Gündem, Panel Export Director.

A Global Giant in Its Sector
Kastamonu Entegre, which alone accounts for 8% of global laminate flooring production and has a consolidated turnover of USD 1.7 million, carries its strength into global markets as Europe’s third-largest and the world’s fourth-largest MDF and particleboard producer.
Operating in six countries and at five different production locations in Türkiye, the company has reached an annual production capacity of more than 7 million cubic metres. With integrated investments in markets such as Italy, Russia, and Romania, it has one of the most extensive production networks in the industry. A fully domestic-capital company exporting to 100 countries across six continents, Kastamonu Entegre also became the export champion of its sector according to the 2024 data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM).
