Bahçeşehir University Industrial Design x A GOOD IDEA.ist Project Kicks Off
The first meeting of the Bahçeşehir University Industrial Design x A GOOD IDEA.ist academic collaboration, initiated under MOBDER (Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters Association), has been held.
As part of this valuable partnership, students from Bahçeşehir University’s Department of Industrial Design will develop original furniture projects for leading Turkish brands during the 2025–2026 academic year and produce prototypes. These innovative designs by young creators will meet industry professionals at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF) 2026.
Inspiration from Industry for Tomorrow’s Designers
Led by MOBDER, the project aims to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, bringing fresh energy to the creative economy. By seating aspiring designers and professional brands at the same table, the platform offers hands-on experience across the entire journey—from idea to finished product.
The A GOOD IDEA.ist team will support students in turning creativity into reality while elevating the economic and cultural value of design.
