At the same time, as part of an expanded scope of responsibilities, Olga Zajączkowska also assumed oversight of the marketing and communications area at Paged Plywood. The combination of expertise in R&D, product development, innovation, and marketing is intended to further strengthen the alignment between technological processes, market requirements, and customer needs.
Aligning Innovation, Product and Market
Paged LabTech serves as the strategic research and development hub within the Paged Group. The appointment of Olga Zajączkowska to the company’s Management Board is part of a broader organisational transformation aimed at accelerating decision-making processes, enhancing the commercialisation of innovation, and building long-term competitive advantage.
“Contemporary R&D is no longer just a laboratory, it is a centre for integrating science, design, and market data. Today, true value emerges at the intersection of these disciplines. That is why our goal is to develop innovations that not only meet technical requirements but also address real social, environmental, and economic needs.” emphasises Olga Zajączkowska, who, alongside Dr Ewelina Depczyńska, President of the Management Board of Paged LabTech, and Marek Janke, Member of the Management Board of Paged LabTech and President of the Management Board of Paged Plywood S.A., will now be jointly responsible for the further development of Paged LabTech, one of the most advanced research and development centres for wood-based materials in Europe, operating since 2019.
Over the past 18 months, Olga Zajączkowska has built and developed the Global Product Development Expert Team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the product portfolio lifecycle, closely aligned with market analysis, technology, cost, risk, and customer expectations.
This new management model enables Paged Plywood to consistently expand its segment-specific offering, dedicated to sectors such as:
- construction (including structural applications, formwork, and scaffolding),
- transport and technical applications,
- interior design and furniture manufacturing,
- as well as other specialised industrial uses.
Business Role and Areas of Responsibility
As Chief Product & Innovation Officer and a Member of the Management Board of Paged LabTech, Olga Zajączkowska is responsible for:

- introducing innovations that drive sales, shorten production cycles, and improve operational efficiency,
- managing the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle,
- implementing a segment-based marketing strategy,

Assuming responsibility for marketing and communications enables coherent management of market messaging, sales materials, and expert communication, all grounded in genuine product and technological knowledge.
“My goal is to create even stronger links between product development, innovation, R&D processes, and real market needs. The commercialisation of innovation starts with a good idea, but it only truly succeeds when the solution works in practice and delivers real value to customers.” Olga adds.
