THE STRATEGIC EURASIAN MEETING POINT FOR THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

As one of Türkiye’s strategic export sectors, the chemical industry continued to be one of the driving forces of the national economy in 2025, with an export volume of USD 31.9 billion. Ranking second in total exports, the sector now needs international cooperation more than ever, amid rising global competition, increasing pressure for sustainable production, and the need to access new markets. In this context, Turkchem Eurasia 2026, one of the most comprehensive chemical platforms in Türkiye and the EMEA Region, is preparing to open its doors at Istanbul Expo Center on 25–27 November 2026 for its 11th edition. Organised by Artkim Fuarcılık, the fair will bring together the entire ecosystem of the chemical industry under one roof, from specialty and fine chemicals to commodity chemicals; from petrochemicals to laboratory and measurement instruments; from process and automation to packaging, recycling and environmental technologies; and from rare earth elements to fertiliser chemicals. With a structure strengthened by state incentives and growing international participation, the stand sales process for Turkchem Eurasia 2026 has also begun.

THE PLATFORM THAT BRINGS TOGETHER EVERYTHING ABOUT CHEMISTRY

First held in 2006, Turkchem Eurasia has, over the years, become one of the region’s most established and trusted meeting points for the chemical industry. When it was launched, the economic size of Türkiye’s chemical sector stood at around USD 8.7 billion. Over the past 18 years, the sector has undergone a significant transformation, reaching a size of USD 33.6 billion by 2022 and becoming one of Türkiye’s highest export-share industries.

In parallel with this growth, Turkchem expanded both its scale and its international footprint. Held for years under the motto “Everything About Chemistry”, the fair offers participants and visitors a strong interaction space for building new business connections, strengthening existing collaborations, and sharing the latest sector developments.

TURKCHEM’S INTERNATIONAL STRENGTH IN NUMBERS

Over three days, Turkchem Eurasia 2024 welcomed 13,897 professional visitors from 95 countries, once again highlighting the event’s international reach. The highest visitor attendance came from Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, Egypt, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Italy, Russia, and India. This picture showed that Turkchem has become an important trade and cooperation platform not only for Türkiye, but also for Eurasia and surrounding regions.

A COMMON GROUND FOR THE FUTURE OF THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Commenting on Turkchem Eurasia 2026, Ahmet Güler, Founder and CEO of Artkim Group, pointed out that the chemical industry is undergoing a significant transformation globally. Güler said: “Increasing competition, the obligation for sustainable production, and the need to access new markets are making international organisations that bring sector stakeholders together on the same platform more important every day. The fact that we have brought together a large number of domestic and international companies and industry professionals under one roof in past years clearly shows that Turkchem Eurasia is strongly recognised by the sector. The strong interest we have observed during the launch process for the 2026 edition also reveals that the fair has become an organisation closely followed not only in Türkiye, but across Eurasia as well. With our structure strengthened through state support and growing international participation, we aim to offer our participants more qualified collaborations, sustainable commercial relationships, and new market connections in the 2026 edition. Turkchem Eurasia will continue to keep both today’s needs and future transformation topics on its agenda.”

A STRONGER 2026 EDITION WITH “PRESTIGIOUS FAIR” STATUS

Turkchem Eurasia 2026 has been evaluated within the scope of the “Prestigious Fair Status” by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and is included among the supported organisations under the updated Domestic Fair Supports Communiqué. Under the new regulation effective as of 1 January 2026, participating companies will be able to benefit from government support calculated on a per-square-metre basis. Accordingly, support of TRY 5,307 per m² will be provided, while the maximum support cap per company has been set at TRY 1,292,800. This support model enables companies to plan their fair investments within a more predictable and sustainable framework.

A TRANSFORMATION POINT FOR THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Turkchem Eurasia 2026 is positioned not only as a trade fair where products and solutions are showcased, but also as a strategic meeting point shaping the changing dynamics of the chemical industry. With its structure supporting sustainable production, high value-added chemical solutions, export-driven growth, and international partnerships, Turkchem Eurasia 2026 will continue to set the agenda for the sector’s transformation.
