“If Interest Rates Fall, Housing Will Become the Most Profitable Investment”

According to TÜİK data, home sales closed the year we have just left behind with record figures. The results came in as expected. The latest numbers show that the momentum of the segment that had been waiting to buy a home is continuing. This is also a result of those who foresee an increase in housing prices taking action.

What matters is whether the construction and real estate sector will reach the position it deserves from this point onward. If the necessary conditions are met, we can say that our sector will have a very strong year. With certain steps to be taken this year, it would be possible to accelerate urban transformation, encourage investors so that more projects break ground and, with falling interest rates, enable more people to become homeowners. In the near term, as access to credit becomes somewhat easier, we can expect housing stocks to begin easing.
