One of the most prestigious gatherings in the furniture and interior design world, Furnishings & Design Istanbul (FDI) took place at the Istanbul Expo Center on 25–27 September. As one of the fair’s main sponsors, Yıldız Entegre—shaping the sector with its Yıldız Trend, VarioClic, TerraClick, and VarioDor brands—drew intense interest from industry professionals throughout the event.

Welcoming national and international visitors to its stand, Yıldız Entegre shared its design-driven production approach and introduced the Glam & Calm Collection. More than a selection of colors and patterns, Glam & Calm is positioned as a design journey that carries the traces of time, light, and nature onto surfaces. Bringing together new and existing colors/patterns across MDFLAM/Particleboard (Suntalam), Door Front Panel, and Lacquered Panel categories, the collection’s Calm line offers pared-back, soothing surfaces with natural textures, while Glam adds refined details that lend spaces a distinctive sense of opulence. In the brand’s words, Glam “presents light with grace, reinterpreting spaces with distinguished splendor,” whereas Calm “whispers balance in every line and carries timeless serenity into every detail.”

Presented to business partners, architects, interior architects, and designers visiting the fair, the Glam & Calm Collection was experienced and appreciated both visually and tactually. Visitors also had the opportunity to witness Yıldız Entegre’s design vision and its trend-setting approach up close.

Throughout the fair, FDI Talks hosted 40 experts from Türkiye, Germany, Belgium, and Italy, featuring insightful conversations and professional discussions covering all components that add value to furniture and interior design. Topics included sustainability, innovation, the value created by design, competitive strategies, the impact of green transformation on the furniture industry, evolving workspaces, designer–manufacturer experiences, and relationships among actors in the design ecosystem. On the final day, Yıldız Entegre Deputy General Manager Melike Çubukçu appeared as a panelist in an FDI Talks session titled “Ensuring Co-opetition in the Design Ecosystem,” sharing the company’s design vision, contributions to the design ecosystem, and perspectives on areas of development for the sector.

Reflecting after the fair, Yıldız Entegre Deputy General Manager Melike Çubukçu said: “At FDI 2025, we had the opportunity not only to showcase our products but also to share a strong vision for the future of Türkiye’s furniture and design industry. The tremendous interest in our Glam & Calm collection once again revealed the transformative power of design. For us, the true success lay in going beyond product presentation to make Türkiye’s design-oriented manufacturing power more visible on the international stage. We will continue to bring innovations to our industry in the period ahead.”
